The ponderings of a 7-year-old boy

So Jack is really excited about when he will be old enough to sit in the front seat of a car. Apparently, he spends a lot of time thinking about it. The other day, he came up to me and asked, "Mom? When I'm able to sit in the front seat, where will Dad sit?"

Kate had fun yesterday sitting like a big girl in the rocking chair and reading books. She is actually really good at rocking the chair - a few times she rocked herself right out of it, which quite surprised her. We managed to read a few good books, too.
